Donald L. Hancock, age 82, of Concord, North Carolina, passed away on Tuesday, March 3, 2026, at Tucker Hospice House.<\/p>\n

Born on June 18, 1943, in Kannapolis, NC, he was the cherished son of the late Woodrow Wilson Hancock and Grace Pauline Hancock.<\/p>\n

Donald dedicated 44 years of his life to Cannon Mills as a shift supervisor, demonstrating an exceptional work ethic with only five sick days over his long distinguished career. He was known for his passion for antique bicycles, especially Schwinn Stingrays, possessing extensive knowledge of his unique collection of vintage antiques and pop-culture memorabilia. His expertise was invaluable to fellow collectors, as he had a remarkable ability to find rare parts and unusual collectibles – the kind of things other collectors coveted.<\/p>\n

Additionally, Donald loved traveling with his family to the beach every summer, where he enjoyed morning walks along the ocean searching for shark’s teeth and fossils. He created memorable experiences on road trips with fellow collectors from Denton, NC to Anne Arbor, Michigan and everywhere in between. Alongside his wife they enjoyed traveling to the beach regularly, taking excursions out West with family and going on cruises to the Bahamas. But Donald\u2019s favorite place in the world was home.<\/p>\n

A warm and humorous individual, Donald had a deep appreciation for animals, always had a good ol\u2019 dawg by his side and cherished the time he spent with family and friends. Some of his favorite pastimes were watching Carolina Basketball or just being outside working in his yard and piddling down in his museum. But if he wasn\u2019t at home, you might find him out having a cone of butter pecan ice cream or junkin\u2019 with his friends for bicycle parts and collectibles. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him. And Donald never met a stranger.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

Dale Suzanne Salony,<\/strong> 54, of Salisbury passed away at her residence on Saturday, November 1, 2025 after a nearly six year long battle with lung cancer.<\/span>
Born in Yonkers, NY on August 13, 1971, she was the daughter of the late Elaine Mary Ansel and Edward O’Brien. She attended Wallkill High School in Wallkill, NY.<\/span>
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Mark O’Brien.<\/span>
Left to cherish her memory are her husband, Thomas Allen Salony of Salisbury, whom she married on June 30, 2002; daughter, Chyenne Thompson and husband Kelly Lee Thompson of Rockwell; grandchildren, Kolt Lee Thompson and Naomi Skye Robinson.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

Jeff Fleming,<\/strong> 64, of\u00a0<\/span>Yadkinville<\/span>, NC, formerly of\u00a0<\/span>Baldwinsville<\/span>, NY, passed away Tuesday June 2nd, 2026. He was born in Syracuse, and became a skilled painter and\u00a0<\/span>autobody<\/span>\u00a0<\/span>technician.<\/p>\n

Jeff was a passionate collector of many things, from classic cars to memorabilia and especially loved signs. He enjoyed traveling to swap meets and car shows weekly.<\/p>\n

He was predeceased by his father, Richard Fleming and sister, Andrea Ennis.<\/p>\n

Jeff is survived by his three girls and their partners, Jacinda (Jay) Jackson Jr., Kara (Scott Dahlin) Fleming, and Raquel (Matthew Phillips) Fleming as well as their mother, Linda Fleming; mother, Rose Marie Fleming; two brothers, Mark Fleming, and Richard Fleming Jr.; four grandchildren, Mason, Leo, Marshall, John and one on the way. Jeff is also survived by his companion, Karen Hennessy and her daughter, Brianna and granddaughter, Opal.<\/p>\n

While Jeff’s death was rather sudden it was in true girl dad style of being sentimental in nature. His heart gave out directly between his two homes of NY and NC. The pull in both directions was so real for him, but to have passed away doing something he loved most (driving) his heart really did split in two.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

John Thomas “Johnny” Earnhardt<\/strong>, 60, of Faith, passed away Sunday, January 4, 2026 at his home surrounded by his friends.<\/p>\n

He was born September 13, 1965 in Rowan County to the late James Thomas Earnhardt and Brenda Hannold Earnhardt. Johnny graduated from East Rowan High School in 1983 where he played football and baseball. Johnny loved his motorcycles and collecting antiques. He was also an avid animal lover. His dogs DIO and Squezzy were his world. Johnny enjoyed spending most of his time with friends that were like family.<\/p>\n

Johnny worked for Celanese fiber for many years before purchasing Granite Tire and Alignment. Johnny was currently employed at Makson Incorporated where he worked in the transportation division.<\/p>\n
